You're here because you don't trust the homepage. Good.

I mean it. Every restoration company in Oklahoma City has a homepage that says "We're the best." They all have stock photos of smiling guys in clean uniforms. They all promise "24/7 emergency response" and "customer satisfaction guaranteed."

So you do what smart people do — you check the reviews.

Here's the thing: I can't write my own reviews. I can't edit them. I can't delete the bad ones. (There aren't any bad ones, but the point stands.) What you're about to read was written by homeowners who were having one of the worst days of their year — and decided that what I did was worth sitting down and typing about.

That's not marketing. That's just what happened.

What My Customers Actually Say

I could organize these by star count, but they're all 5 stars. So instead, I organized them by what you're probably worried about.

◆ "Will you actually show up fast?"
J
5.0
J. H. Moore, OK — Emergency Attic Flood

"They came by really fast and started drying immediately!"

That was a midnight call. Attic pipe burst. Water was raining through the ceiling into the living room. I was there before the towels ran out. That's what emergency water removal looks like.

◆ "Are you actually going to be honest with me?"
M
5.0
M.R. Norman, OK — Mold from HVAC Leak

"They do exactly what they say. So professional!"

This one was a slow leak behind the HVAC unit. The previous company told her it was "just condensation." It wasn't. It was a failed drain pan growing Aspergillus for six months. We contained it, killed it, and showed her how to prevent it. That's what proper mold remediation looks like.

◆ "Will you deal with my insurance company?"
B
5.0
Brittany Venable Verified Google Review

"They showed up very quickly, explained everything clearly, took great photos and notes for insurance, monitored daily and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them. 10/10!!!"

Brittany's claim got approved as-scoped. No pushback from the adjuster. You know why? Because we use Xactimate — the same software the insurance company uses. When the line items match, the arguments stop.

◆ "Am I going to regret calling?"
M
5.0
Mitzi Verified Google Review

"I was freaking out, and they weren't just professional — they were personable. They coordinated everything with insurance and took the time to reassure me."

Mitzi is why I do this. She was panicking. Her voice was shaking on the phone. By the time I left her house, she was laughing about it. That's the arc I want for every job: terror to relief to "that wasn't as bad as I thought."

◆ CHARACTER_PROOF

I Respond to Every Single Review. Personally.

> PHIL_COMMENTARY_02 _

Most companies have a VA paste "Thank you for your kind words! We strive for excellence!" under every review. You've seen it. It's the same template with a different name swapped in.

I write every response myself. Sometimes at 11pm after a job. Sometimes poorly punctuated. But always real.

Here's why: if someone takes the time to write about their experience with 4D, the least I can do is acknowledge it like a human being and not a chatbot.

You can check. Go to my Google Business Profile and read the responses. You'll notice they reference specific details from the job — because I actually remember the job. I remember the flooded garage in Moore. I remember the mold behind the vanity in Edmond. I remember the kitchen fire in Midwest City.

These aren't transactions to me. They're Tuesdays. Get to know me.

"I can't speak highly enough about this company! Phil and his team were fantastic. Having a flooded house with a baby is super stressful but Phil was prompt and very detailed. They made me feel calm and in charge every step of the way. They kept great communication with me so I knew what was going on at my house. Shout out to Jason and Jacob for being a fantastic help too! This team is on point and made me feel very taken care in such a stressful situation. You won't be sorry you hired them!"

"4D just completed a water damage/mold project at my house! I am floored by their attention to detail! They took care to complete each step meticulously! The guys even vacuumed outside the contained area before leaving for the night. (There was hardly a speck of dirt to clean up!) Phil and Derrick are no pressure, but no nonsense leaders. They get the job done RIGHT! Our interactions with the entire team were kind and gracious. At one point when they were waiting for a cleaning cycle to conclude, they joined in a game of pick up basketball with my son and his friends! This is a Top Notch company with excellent service! I cannot recommend 4D enough!!"

Here's the thing most people don't think about: I've been doing this since January 2024. Every week, I'm in someone's house fixing something. Out of all those jobs, 77 people felt strongly enough to sit down and write about it.

Think about that. When is the last time YOU left a review for anything? Now imagine doing it for a guy who showed up to your flooded house at 2 AM. That's not "customer satisfaction." That's genuine gratitude from someone who had a terrible day that ended well.

"But 5.0 Stars Seems Too Good to Be True."

CLASSIFIED — HONEST ASSESSMENT CLASS_A

I hear you. And honestly? You're right to be skeptical. A lot of companies buy reviews. A lot of companies pressure customers into leaving 5 stars before the dust settles.

Here's my take: I don't ask for reviews on the day of the job. I wait 2-3 days. By then, you've had time to live in the space, notice if anything's off, and make up your own mind about whether Phil Sheridan deserves your time.

If you decide I do — great. If you don't — I'll live. I'd rather have 77 honest reviews than hundreds of manufactured ones.

Also: go read the reviews yourself. You'll notice something. They're specific. They mention neighborhoods. They mention damage types. They mention my name. They mention my brother. Real reviews sound like real people. Fake reviews sound like brochures. You already know the difference.

And Phil's Honest Answers

Every single one. I don't buy reviews. I don't offer discounts for reviews. I don't pressure anyone on the day of the job. I wait a few days, send a text, and if they feel like writing something — they do. If they don't, I don't ask twice. Here's the test: go read them. Real reviews mention specifics — neighborhoods, damage types, timelines, my name. Fake reviews say "great job, would recommend." You already know the difference.

admin@4d : ~/faq $
query --id=02 "How can you have all 5-star reviews? That seems suspicious." ▶ ENTER
--- OUTPUT [02] ---

Fair question. Here's my honest answer: I've been doing this since January 2024. I'm in someone's house every week. Out of all those jobs, 77 people left a review. Every one of them gave 5 stars. That's not a system — that's just people deciding it was worth writing about. The other 5 out of 6? They were satisfied but didn't feel like opening Google. That's normal. What's NOT normal — and what should concern you — is a company with thousands of 5-star reviews that all say the same thing. That's a system. My reviews are just people. Also: I'm a small company. I'm on every job. There's no franchise operator in another state running the show. When it's just me and my brother, the quality stays consistent. That's harder to maintain when you have 200 techs.

admin@4d : ~/faq $
query --id=03 "What do your customers say about working with insurance?" ▶ ENTER
--- OUTPUT [03] ---

A lot, actually. It's one of the most common themes in my reviews. Customers mention that we handle the insurance coordination — the documentation, the photos, the Xactimate estimates, the adjuster communication. They don't have to fight with their insurance company because I do it for them. I use the same software the adjusters use. When the line items match, the arguments stop. Most of my claims get approved as-scoped.

admin@4d : ~/faq $
query --id=04 "Do you respond to every review?" ▶ ENTER
--- OUTPUT [04] ---

Every single one. Personally. Not a template. Not a VA. Me. If someone takes the time to write about their experience with my company, I respond with details about their specific job — because I remember the job. I remember the flooded garage in Moore. I remember the mold behind the vanity in Edmond. You can check this yourself on my Google Business Profile. My responses reference specifics. That's how you know a real business owner is behind them.

admin@4d : ~/faq $
query --id=05 "How do your reviews compare to the big franchise companies?" ▶ ENTER
--- OUTPUT [05] ---

Different universe. Franchise reviews are spread across hundreds of operators in different states. The 5-star review in Tampa has nothing to do with the franchise location in Oklahoma City. Different owner, different crew, different equipment, different results. My reviews are all about the same team — me, my brother, our crew — doing the same work in the same metro area. Every review reflects the actual experience you'll get if you call 4D Restoration today.
